The mailbox sticks
The door scrapes on the left. I have to lift it a little or it will not close, and then the rain gets in along the hinge.
Inside was a postcard from June, bent at the corner, the picture of a pier I do not remember visiting. Maybe it was for the previous box. I kept it anyway, on the fridge, under a magnet that used to hold a menu.
One evening I will take the door off and file the edge. Until then I lift, close, and check with a finger that the gap is gone.
